Our First Sleepwear Collection

Over the last 20 years, we’ve crafted countless ready-to-wear and bridal collections, expanding our creative vision beyond clothing into a world of accessories and collaborations. We’ve ventured into belts, bags, sunglasses and partnered with esteemed brands to bring our signature style into new realms. Notably, we’ve teamed up with Romo for interiors, Loci for shoes, Heidi Klein for swimwear, and Annoushka for jewellery.

And now, we continue to evolve and explore new ventures, expanding our reach into our first sleepwear collection, while staying true to the elegant and timeless aesthetic that defines us and continuing our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Why a sleepwear collection now?

'Sleepwear has always been my next love after clothing; I think it is what is worn to bed or underneath that really inspires a woman to feel beautiful - that inner, secret glamour. We happened to meet the right partner in the last 12 months who shared the same vision with us so I knew it was time.... I am so excited.'

What inspired this sleepwear collection?

'I have been collecting vintage nightwear forever so my personal collection was the initial starting point for researching for this first collection...pieces I have treasured have influenced many of the silhouettes and finishings. Elements that are synonymous with Temperley - leopard print, romantic laces, artfully place satin stitch embroidery, dreamlike hand painted prints have all been integrated into this new collection. It sits perfectly next to our ready to wear and bridal collections.'

What is different about designing sleepwear products?

'Scale - the scale of a print on a dress might not work on a camisole so it's about playing around and seeing what works with the more delicate pieces. Fit, support, finishings and details are so important in sleepwear - but this echos what we already do in our ready-to-wear collections.... Everything has to be perfect to make women feel the best of themselves in both clothing and nightwear.'

What are the highlights of the collection?

'The Hebe gown is inspired by my favourite piece in my personal vintage collection - it really is the statement piece of the collection - the ultimate old school glamour... The luxurious silk sleepwear using our iconic hand painted prints are another favourite. I can't wait to wear the solid colour silk slip dresses in the evening with a leather jacket and some boots. There is something undeniably romantic, alluring and unexpected about wearing nightwear as outerwear...'

What do you read and whom do you follow in social media to keep ahead of trends?

'I love collecting art, photography and interiors books which I often reference when designing a new collection. I don't follow trends - we create timeless, artisan treasures that can be worn season after season and passed down as heirlooms. Our new sleepwear collection is the same - timeless pieces for women to wear season after season, year after year. Trends are transient whereas I design for longevity. '

Describe the person who wears your designs: what is their style?

'Vivacious women with an insatiable curiosity for life and sense of adventure. Women who don't follow trends and break rules but appreciate timeless luxury and quality.'
